Royal Aviary Registry (RAR) is a bird registration, pedigree documentation, breeder recognition, marketplace, and community platform.
These rules apply to all RAR divisions, registered breeders, sellers, buyers, members, visitors, and users of RAR services.
By creating an account, submitting a registration, listing a bird, completing a transaction, or otherwise using RAR services, users agree to follow these rules.
Royal Aviary Registry maintains a zero-tolerance policy for serious misconduct, fraud, illegal activity, and intentional abuse of the RAR platform.
The following conduct may result in immediate suspension, permanent account termination, removal of marketplace privileges, cancellation or review of affected transactions, and administrative investigation:
Royal Aviary Registry does not tolerate, promote, authorize, assist, facilitate, or knowingly permit illegal activity of any kind.
RAR may not be used to advertise, arrange, coordinate, promote, finance, facilitate, document for fraudulent purposes, or conduct activity that violates applicable law.
Every user is individually responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, licensing requirements, permits, transportation rules, animal-welfare laws, wildlife regulations, import/export requirements, and other legal obligations that apply to their activities.
This includes applicable:
Being registered with RAR does not authorize anyone to violate the law.
An RAR registration, breeder profile, Seller Profile, pedigree, certificate, marketplace listing, or membership does not constitute governmental permission, licensing, or legal approval for any activity.
If RAR determines or reasonably suspects that its platform is being used in connection with unlawful activity, RAR reserves the right to restrict or suspend the account, remove listings or content, place transactions or payouts on hold where legally and operationally appropriate, preserve relevant records, and take other reasonable actions permitted by RAR policies and applicable law.
RAR may also comply with valid legal requirements or lawful requests from appropriate governmental or law-enforcement authorities.
Zero tolerance means zero tolerance.
Participation in RAR is a privilege, not permission to violate the law.
All information submitted to RAR must be truthful and accurate to the best of the user’s knowledge.
Users may not knowingly submit:
Knowingly submitting false information may result in records being flagged, suspended, corrected, or permanently removed.
A bird may not intentionally be registered multiple times under different identities.
Users may not attempt to create duplicate registrations to:
Corrections must be submitted through the proper RAR correction process.
When a bird photograph is required, the photograph must represent the bird being registered or listed.
Using another person’s bird, a stock photograph, AI-generated bird, or photograph of a different bird as representation of the registered bird is prohibited.
RAR documents information submitted by breeders and owners.
Unknown ancestry must remain identified as unknown when reliable ancestry information is unavailable.
Users may not invent ancestors simply to complete a pedigree.
RAR registration certificates, pictured pedigrees, identification numbers, QR codes, breeder IDs, and other official RAR records may not be:
Unauthorized reproduction intended to misrepresent an animal as RAR registered is prohibited.
RAR provides registration and documentation services.
Registration establishes an RAR record based upon information submitted and documentation available to the registry.
Unless specifically identified as independently verified by RAR, registration should not be interpreted as a guarantee of:
A recognized RAR Breeder Profile requires completion of the RAR breeder enrollment process.
The current breeder initiation is a one-time $60 fee, unless a promotional or complimentary membership applies.
Breeder status allows the breeder to establish their recognized breeder identity and display birds registered with RAR.
Breeder status alone does not provide marketplace selling privileges.
RAR separates breeder recognition from marketplace selling.
A standard Breeder Profile may display the breeder and their registered birds but may not use restricted seller functions.
Functions reserved for approved Seller Profiles may include:
An eligible RAR breeder may upgrade to a Seller Profile.
The current Seller Profile upgrade is a one-time $60 fee.
There is currently no monthly Seller Profile fee and no annual Seller Profile fee.
Seller privileges remain active unless the account is restricted, suspended, terminated, or otherwise becomes ineligible under RAR policies.
Only users with an active Seller Profile may list birds for sale through the RAR marketplace.
Users may not use regular breeder profiles, comments, profile descriptions, usernames, photos, or other RAR features to bypass Seller Profile requirements.
A seller may only list a bird that the seller legally owns or has documented authorization to sell.
Selling another person’s bird without authorization is prohibited.
A marketplace listing must accurately represent the bird being offered.
Listings should disclose material information known to the seller, including where applicable:
Misleading listings are prohibited.
Transactions completed through the RAR marketplace are currently subject to a 5% RAR marketplace commission based on the final bird sale price.
The seller receives the remaining amount, subject to applicable payment-processing fees, refunds, disputes, taxes, or other charges disclosed during checkout.
Users may not intentionally move an RAR-generated transaction off the platform for the purpose of avoiding RAR marketplace fees.
Marketplace transactions must follow the approved RAR payment process.
When applicable, payment may remain pending through RAR’s approved payment system until the transaction reaches the required stage for seller payout.
The seller should not be considered entitled to final payout solely because payment was submitted by the buyer.
RAR may require confirmation of delivery, transfer, pickup, or other transaction requirements before payout is authorized.
When a bird is successfully received, the buyer should confirm receipt through the RAR transaction system.
Once the required transaction conditions are satisfied, the seller payout may be authorized.
RAR may establish additional procedures when:
Buyer protection does not permit a buyer to receive a bird and fraudulently deny delivery or falsely claim a problem to avoid payment.
Fraudulent chargebacks, false disputes, false non-delivery claims, or manipulation of the buyer protection system may result in account termination.
A seller may not knowingly misrepresent:
Serious misrepresentation may result in suspension or permanent removal from the RAR marketplace.
When an RAR-registered bird changes ownership, users should complete the appropriate RAR ownership-transfer process.
A new owner may not remove or rewrite the documented historical ownership of the bird.
RAR records are intended to preserve the bird’s documented history.
Users may not intentionally impersonate another:
RAR may require additional information when breeder or business names are disputed.
RAR may maintain breeder, farm, loft, or aviary names as part of its internal registry system.
Users may not intentionally create profiles designed to confuse members into believing they are another established RAR breeder.
RAR registration of a breeder or farm name does not automatically establish government trademark rights or ownership outside the RAR system.
RAR maintains a strict prohibition against illegal activity.
No RAR account, division, registration service, breeder profile, Seller Profile, marketplace listing, messaging feature, payment system, community feature, or other RAR service may be used to break, evade, encourage, promote, coordinate, facilitate, or conceal violations of applicable law.
Users are solely responsible for determining and complying with the laws that apply to their birds and activities.
RAR reserves the right to take immediate action where serious unlawful conduct is reasonably suspected.
RAR recognizes and documents gamefowl bloodlines and historical breeding records.
RAR may not be used to arrange, promote, advertise, organize, finance, or facilitate illegal animal fighting.
Historical, educational, agricultural, breeding, bloodline, preservation, and documentation content is permitted when otherwise consistent with RAR policies and applicable law.
RAR expects birds offered through the platform to be treated humanely.
Content depicting intentional animal cruelty may be removed.
Accounts associated with serious animal abuse may be suspended or terminated.
A listing involving a protected, regulated, endangered, exotic, imported, or otherwise restricted species must comply with all applicable permits, licenses, transportation requirements, and government regulations.
The seller and buyer are responsible for determining whether possession, breeding, transfer, sale, import, export, or transportation is lawful.
RAR registration does not override government regulations.
Users are responsible for ensuring that transportation of a bird complies with applicable laws and carrier requirements.
Seller and buyer should establish transportation arrangements before completing a transaction.
RAR may provide access to transportation services or independent transporters but does not automatically make the transporter an employee of RAR.
RAR encourages sellers to disclose known health concerns that could materially affect a transaction.
Users should follow appropriate quarantine and biosecurity practices when introducing a new bird into an aviary, loft, farm, or flock.
RAR registration is not a veterinary health certificate.
Users may not falsely advertise a bird as:
unless they possess documentation supporting that claim.
Race results, show awards, championships, breeder accomplishments, historical records, and other performance claims submitted to RAR must not knowingly be falsified.
RAR may request supporting documentation before displaying certain achievements as verified.
RAR users must communicate respectfully.
The following may result in moderation:
Disagreement between breeders is permitted. Personal harassment is not.
Users may not repeatedly advertise unrelated products, businesses, services, websites, or social-media accounts through RAR community features.
RAR may provide designated advertising and service-directory areas for commercial promotion.
Users may not attempt to manipulate, disable, or bypass:
Creating additional accounts to avoid enforcement is prohibited.
Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials.
Users should immediately report suspected unauthorized access to their RAR account.
Accounts may not knowingly be sold, transferred, or shared to avoid RAR requirements.
Multiple legitimate businesses or breeder operations may require separate records when approved by RAR.
However, users may not create multiple accounts for the purpose of:
Reviews must relate to genuine interactions or transactions.
Fake positive reviews and deliberately false negative reviews are prohibited.
RAR may remove reviews associated with fraud, harassment, manipulation, or transactions that did not occur.
When a transaction dispute occurs, RAR may temporarily restrict payout or account activity while available information is reviewed.
RAR may request:
Failure to cooperate with an investigation may affect the outcome of the dispute.
RAR may place a warning, hold, dispute notation, or administrative flag on a bird registration or account when credible questions arise regarding:
A flag does not necessarily mean wrongdoing occurred. It means additional review may be required.
RAR may correct obvious administrative errors while maintaining an appropriate record of important historical changes.
Material pedigree, ownership, or identity information should not simply disappear because ownership changes.
RAR’s goal is to preserve an accurate documented history.
RAR may temporarily suspend an account while reviewing suspected violations.
Depending upon the situation, suspended users may temporarily lose access to:
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.
Examples may include:
Account termination does not necessarily mean historical bird records will be deleted.
RAR may preserve registration, pedigree, transfer, transaction, and ownership records when necessary to maintain the historical integrity of the registry or satisfy legitimate legal, administrative, or fraud-prevention purposes.
The account may be marked inactive, suspended, terminated, or otherwise restricted instead.
Users retain rights in information and photographs they lawfully provide subject to RAR’s Terms of Service.
RAR may maintain the registration data necessary to operate and preserve the registry, pedigrees, ownership chains, and historical documentation.
Users should not expect legitimate historical records to automatically disappear when they close an account.
Private personal information should not automatically be displayed publicly.
RAR may allow users to control certain profile information.
Some information may remain visible when necessary for registration, seller verification, public breeder identification, or marketplace operation as described in RAR’s Privacy Policy.
RAR administrators may review accounts, registrations, marketplace listings, reported content, and transactions when reasonably necessary to:
Administrative access must be used for legitimate RAR purposes.
These general rules apply across Royal Aviary Registry divisions.
Individual divisions may establish additional rules relating specifically to their birds, documentation, breeding practices, records, or marketplace categories.
Where a division-specific rule is stricter than a general RAR rule, the division-specific rule may control for that division.
RAR may revise these rules as the registry, marketplace, technology, divisions, and legal requirements evolve.
Important changes should be published on the RAR website.
Continued use of RAR after updated rules take effect constitutes acceptance subject to the RAR Terms of Service.
